Verizon International Voice & Data Service
For all of you who have Verizon Wireless, please find the information below regarding voice & data services while in China, Viet Nam & Hong Kong. If you have the blackberry pearl there is no data service available and voice only in China & Viet Nam. However, the blackberry world and storm editions both have data and voice in China, Viet Nam & Hong Kong; the cost to upgrade to unlimited data is $20 and voice is $1.99 per minute. You can upgrade for one month if you would like, unless your billing cycle ends during the trip, like mine. Verizon told me I can pro-rate June 5-20th and then pay for a full month following. Hopefully none of you have the same problem as me!! Best of luck! HTH!!!

In preparation of our upcoming international trip, it was noted that it may be worthwhile to update any personal documents, wills, heath care surrogate forms, etc. With that in mind, I wanted to let you know about some information and guidance that the Florida Bar provides free to the public regarding these items.
A Living Will is a document that gives instructions or expresses an individual’s desire concerning any aspect of his or her future health care treatment. A Living Will should not be confused with a person’s legal will which disposes of personal property on or after his or her death, and appoints a personal representative or revokes or revises another will. A Health Care Surrogate is a person designated to make health care decisions if the individual becomes unable to do so.

You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling...?
Commentary:Obama Turns His Back on the Iowa Farmer
Last week, several of us discussed the topic of how the President is perceived in Iowa now that his administration has proposed pretty drastic cuts in farm program payments.
I think this opinion piece from a local paper in Iowa pretty much summs it up. LINK
I'm not sure this was the change that was expected from the people we talked to when we were in Iowa.
