Verizon International Voice & Data Service

For all of you who have Verizon Wireless, please find the information below regarding voice & data services while in China, Viet Nam & Hong Kong. If you have the blackberry pearl there is no data service available and voice only in China & Viet Nam. However, the blackberry world and storm editions both have data and voice in China, Viet Nam & Hong Kong; the cost to upgrade to unlimited data is $20 and voice is $1.99 per minute. You can upgrade for one month if you would like, unless your billing cycle ends during the trip, like mine. Verizon told me I can pro-rate June 5-20th and then pay for a full month following.
