We are seeking a Director of Marketing to manage marketplace issues affecting FFVA members and coordinate the association’s membership operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Advocate member and association interests in issues affecting the domestic and international movement of fruits, vegetables and other agricultural products.
- Manage grower exchanges (cooperatives) for various commodities.
- Recruit and retain members; maintain membership database; process membership applications and monthly billing.
- Maintain membership database; process membership applications and monthly billing.
- Plan, promote, and coordinate the FFVA’s Annual Convention
- Maintain regular contact with Federal and State agencies.
- Conduct educational seminars; publish informative bulletins for FFVA members.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of fruit and vegetable production and marketing.
- Experience in managing membership services.
- Proven ability to handle complaints and problems, negotiate and work as part of a team.
- Experience and knowledge of membership data base systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; project management skills, highly organized and pro-active.
- Bachelor’s degree in agricultural marketing or communications preferred.

Matt Lauer has been to Moscow in his Where in the World series in 2004.
The city has something in common with a place we've been. Tallahassee is a capital city and Moscow is a capital city. Moscow is the country's political, economic, religious, financial, educational and transportation centre - sounds like Miami as well.
Online research says that in Moscow, fifteen daily papers are published there, probably the highest per capita number for any city in the world. Highlands County has newspapers as well.

Eighty-eight per cent of all known executions took place in five countries: China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the USA.
