Happy Monday!

First full day of programming for the week--two great stops at the National Ag University.  Our first visit was with a faculty member doing grain research.  This woman gets no funding from the Peruvian government--yet she is changing this country by improving yields and helping farmers.  The second visit was with a brilliant young phd student working with vegetables--she took us to their pepper plot where they are growing 300 different peppers--again, they trying to find the best varieties for production.
