A very full day of programming, met with the Mayor of Curacavi, visited two local shops, went to a small vegetable packing house, visited a 250 head dairy, enjoyed an amazing lunch, then drove to the coast and Viña del Mar via the Napa Valley of Chile!

Yesterday we enjoyed a much needed "free day" in beautiful Viña del Mar and Valparaiso - the scenery is amazing and really was a wonderful place to rest and reset for our next several days of programming.

Today we will visit INIA a private agricultural research institution, an avocado and citrus farm and a nursery!

While in Chile, several of us felt we should check out the cultural experience of a Copa America futbol match. Despite some trepidations from Hannah, we bought tickets and flocked to the game like moths to the flame. Chile was victorious, we all had a fantastic time and even lived to tell about it. All kidding aside, the entire night was a great experience and we were very impressed with the safety at the game. The stadium was surprisingly quiet (and sin alcohol) during play and the spectators were very respectful of both teams. We learned some new cheers and were happy to leave with the W for Chile.
