Double dipping...

Two ethanol plants in one day.  That's 150 million gallons of clean burning, US farmer produced energy each year.

But the cool thing to me is the technology being used here is really only the beginning. The first plant started in 06 and the last one started earlier this year, and it was clear to see that technology is moving fast.

I wonder how soon we have plants better than these in Florida using Florida products and by-products to produce ethanol?

Something I heard a few times was that this one was so nice and new with room for future growth and all. It kinda made the first one look like a "mom and pop" type place although it was far from it. The same company built both places and you can see learning curve from year to year in the construction. I, too, wonder how long it will be before we can amass a few of these bad boy plants around FL so we too can benefit from the science in ag. These guys are paying $1.85 for E85 in some places and the picture below even shows it right out front of the plant for under $2.00. We need this, too.
