Last week, Class VIII was able to visit a beautiful part of Florida. From Taylor to Bay counties, we saw healthy industries, resilient people, beautiful landscapes and leadership in the field. From family friendly towns, to thriving companies, to innovative school administrations, to growing communities; each county has its own identity. The commonality was the sense of community, passion, and pride within the people. We were very fortunate to get an insiders view to the issues impacting each of these areas. This view was only afforded to us by the wonderful coordinators of this trip. A very special thank you to Richard Schwab of Class VI (pictured with Class VIII), Sheree Miller, Bill Mahan (pictured with Jamie Hayes), and Shawna Beji for helping coordinate a wonderful experience!
